Rigor is creating an environment in which each student is expected to learn at high levels, each student is supported so he or she can learn at high levels, and each student demonstrates learning at high levels (Blackburn, 2008).

Resources for the Common Core
I'm asked more and more, "What are some good resources for implementing the Common Core State Standards?" One of the best is ASCD's Resource Central. Hands-down, it's my number one go-to site when I'm looking for specific resources.
