Rigor is creating an environment in which each student is expected to learn at high levels,
each student is supported so he or she can learn at high levels,
and each student demonstrates learning at high levels (Blackburn, 2008).

Just for Leaders: Rigor Podcast

In December, the wonderful folks over at School Leadership Briefing interviewed me for a podcast. We talked for about 12-15 minutes of Rigor and the Common Core State Standards.  Although a subscription service, you can now listen to it at no charge!
